PROJECT WORK PLAN:

The project will be organised integrating the different project phases focusing on:

-The creation of the guides

-The creation of the learning community

-The project website

-The organisation of the short-term training for VET teachers and trainers,

-The organization of the Blended mobility for VET students,

-The Final Conference to disseminate and mainstream the project results and

-The sustainability of the project (HACKATHONS clubs, new challenges)

The project development has been divided and scheduled in the following activities:

A1:TO CREATE THE WEB SITE AND SOCIAL PROFILE OF THE PROJECT

A2:TO CREATE A LEARNING COMMUNITY

Month 1 to 2

To create a learning community for involving teachers and trainers and their students. In this learning community will participate for each partner at least 20 VET teachers and trainers, 20 VET students, 1 public authority in charge of education. Partners will inform other institutions in Europe about the project, the project promoter will prepare a letter of interest that will be signed by the participating institutions in the learning community.

A4: SORT TERM STAFF TRAINING EVENT

Month 8 to 12

“HACKATHONS like a tool to improve ESTEAME, transversal and intercultural competences". Each partner will select 4 VET TEACHERS for a short term join staff training transnational

training experience in Portugal.

During the 3 days training experience VET teachers and trainers will test the contents of the guide and will participate in demonstrations/study visits and attend workshops to equip them with the skills to use of new methodologies and IT tools in lessons that will enable VET students to understand ESTEAME challenging subjects

and to develop key and transversal competences.

A5: STUDENTS BLENDED MOBILITY

Month 13 to 21

VET STUDENTS will participate in two training experiences during the development of the project, the first one in each participant country and the second one in Italy. Each partner will select 20 students paying particular attention to vulnerable groups, promoting equality between women and men.

The first one “NATIONAL HACKATHONS. The winning team will participate in the EU HACKATHONS in Italy.

The short term exchange of groups of pupils “EU HACKATHONS" in Italy

VET students will work in multicultural teams of 5 VET students (collaborative and multicultural work teams), always mentored by two VET teachers. During the 5 days they will attend conferences on open data, data analysis, machine learning, climate change, they will visit entreprises like “arduino factory" and they will collaborate during 24 in solving the selected challenges that will help them to develop key, transversal and intercultural competences and make their own creations through playful learning experiences applying ESTEAME concepts, promoting gender equality and inclusión

A6: Final International Dissemination Conference about " EU HACKATHONS and ESTEAME concepts in VET classrooms" in Romania at the end of the project with the participation of all the partnership, VET teachers, VET students, public authorities, enterprises, social partners.. for promoting the project results and activities

A7: Creation of a HACKATHONS club in each country and international EU HACKATHONS after the financial period.

Month 23

The partnership will organize two “EU HACKATHONS" after the financial period.

Project partners will create EU HACKATHON clubs in each country to create a hallmark of the participating VET schools, this clubs will facilitate the organization of national and EU

HACKATHONS.
